Marino Coppolaro received the M.E. (summa cum laude) in Telecommunication Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Information Engineering in 2011 and 2023, respectively, both from the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy.

From June 2012 to October 2014, he worked as a telecommunication engineer with ART Srl, Benevento, Italy. Since October 2014, he has been working as a high-school teacher of computer science.

From July 2024 to July 2026, on leave of absence, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Fields & Waves Lab, working on magnetic metamaterials and time-varying media.

Dr. Coppolaro was awarded a Best Poster Prize at the International Congress on Artificial Materials for Novel Wave Phenomena in 2019.
