Our paper on “Mid-infrared enhanced spectrochemical detection using azide vibrational probes,” in collaboration with Emanuela Esposito’s Group (National Research Council), has been accepted for publication in Biosensors and Bioelectronics.

We have presented a talk on “Downlink sum-rate maximization for joint active and passive stacked intelligent metasurfaces” at the 2004 IEEE Virtual Conference on Communications (IEEE VCC), Dec. 3–5, 2024.

Our paper on “Integrating sensing and communications: Simultaneously transmitting and reflecting digital coding metasurfaces,” in collaboration with Francesco Verde (University of Naples “Federico II”) and Tie Jun Cui’s Group (Southeast University), has been published in the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine.

Akram Bediaf and Mohamed Bedra, Ph.D. students at the University of Batna 2, Algeria, have temporarily joined the Fields & Waves Lab for a research internship. They will be working on the application of symbolic regression to flatland optics.
