Giuseppe Castaldi is an Associate Professor of Electromagnetics in the Department of Engineering at the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy. In 2001, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the TNO Physics and Electronics Laboratory, The Hague, The Netherlands.

He has co-authored over a hundred scientific papers in international journals and books.

Dr. Castaldi was awarded a Best Poster award at the 2019 International Congress on Engineered Material Platforms for Novel Wave Phenomena.

He is also the co-founder of the spinoff company MANTID srl, and the startup company BioTag srl.
