Dustin Krogstad

Ph.D. student

Dustin Krogstad completed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus in wireless communications at California State University, Los Angeles, CA, USA. His Master was spent researching haptic and tracking technology that would be applicable to the ever growing field of virtual reality.

Since December 2020, he has been a Ph.D. student in Information Technologies for Engineering​at the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy, working in the Fields & Waves Lab under the joint supervision of Profs. Vincenzo Galdi and Riccardo DeSalvo. His current research is focused on positional tracking systems based on millimeter-wave radars.

Outside of Engineering, he enjoys cooking, gaming and playing various outdoor sports.
