Marino Coppolaro was born in Benevento, Italy, on August 15, 1983. He received the M.E. degree (summa cum laude) in telecommunication engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information technologies for engineering in 2011 and 2023, respectively, both from the University of Sannio. From June 2012 to October 2014, he worked as a telecommunication engineer with ART Srl, Benevento, Italy. Since October 2014, he has been working as a high-school teacher of computer science. His Ph.D. research activity was focused on the study of nonlocal and non-Hermitian effects in metamaterials. Dr. Coppolaro was awarded a Best Poster Prize at the International Congress on Artificial Materials for Novel Wave Phenomena in 2019.
