Francesco P. Monaco received his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Electronics Engineering for Automation and Telecommunications, both from the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy, in 2016 and 2019, respectively.

During his bachelor and master, he carried out two internships abroad within the framework of the “Erasmus Traineeship” program, at Politechnika Łódzka, Poland, and Universidad Carlos III, Madrid, Spain, in 2016 and 2018, respectively.

In 2026, he received a Ph.D. degree in Information Technologies for Engineering from the University of Sannio, defending a thesis on sub-6GHz and mm-wave reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, supervised by Profs. Giuseppe Castaldi, Andrea Cusano and Vincenzo Galdi.

He is currently a senior antenna engineer at MANTID srl, where he has been working since 2019.
