Omar M. Perez was born Lipa City, Philippines on April 4, 1992.

He received the B.S. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle Lipa, Philippines in 2013, and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the California State University, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2019.

Since December 2019, he has been a Ph.D. student in Information Technologies for Engineering​at the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy, working in the Fields & Waves Lab under the joint supervision of Profs. Vincenzo Galdi and Riccardo DeSalvo.

His current research is focused on positional tracking systems based on millimeter-wave radars.
